NIZAR AHAMED ABUBACKER
CEO
Mr. Nizar Ahamed holds a Master of Business Administration (Marketing). With a strong academic background Mr. Nizar is well-founded in his concepts and application of principles. His passion in education has brought him around the globe with more than 18 years of teaching experience in countries like Malaysia, Singapore, Sultanate of Oman, India, Uzbekistan and China. He also has industry experiences in services marketing and customer care in communications industry. Currently, he is the CEO of AAC.

DR. N L BALASUDARSUN
Academic Director
Dr. N L Balasudarsun holds MBA, MSc and PhD in Business and E-Commerce. He
has a passion towards teaching and sharing knowledge. He completed FDP in Management from IIM-Indore, Certificate in Teaching Course from Stamford College, Malaysia, and Pedagogy in Management education at IIM-Kozhikode. He has six years of industry experience and 17 years of academic experience
in teaching business schools in Malaysia, Singapore, Uzbekistan and India. He has visited several leading universities for academic exposure and collaboration. His research interest areas are Marketing, Consumer. Behaviour and Nero Marketing. He has published in leading journals and presented research papers in various conferences.

MAY MAR HLAING
Programme Leader (Foundation Programmes)
Ms. May graduated from Wichita State University, U.S.A with Bachelor of Science in Biology/Biological Science and obtained a Professional Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education from SEED Institute, Singapore. She has been teaching English and Mathematics to students of different ages, starting from aged 3 to 12. Her academic knowledge, professional experience, and passion have prepared her to work with children from different cultural backgrounds and create a meaningful learning journey for young children. She is dedicated to support her students to reach their full potential by nurturing their areas of strength.

MATTHEW TAN
Programme Leader (Tertiary Programmes)
Mr. Matthew is an avid believer of Active Learning Pedagogy. Engagement with students transforms the classroom into a holistic 360-degree knowledge sharing environment. Equipped with an MSc in Project Management and BSc (Hon) in Business Management - both with distinction - he has both industrial and academic knowledge to impart, being a business developer in various sectors. His firm conviction in building collaborative, genuine relationships has resulted in classrooms and businesses creating dynamic, valuable ideas together. He now serves in AAC as Programme Leader and lecturer for
Tertiary Education.

CECILIA TAN
Associate Lecturer
Ms. Tan has obtained Bachelor in Education (Malaysia), Masters in Applied Linguistics major in ESL teaching from National Institute of Education (NIE) Singapore and London Teacher Training College (LTTC) for Professional Teaching Certificate in Creative Writing. She specialises in teaching international students who are non-English speakers (ESL/EFL) of the English language (individual and group settings). She has years of experience in teaching local and international students (especially Chinese & South East Asian nationals). Her experiences include teaching students for various purposes - academic (AEIS, PSLE, O-LEVEL & IELTS) and non-academic (Study Tour & Cultural Immersion Programme). She has also successfully designed and delivered a multidimensional second-language program for various language learning stages.

SHERIN BANU BATCHA
Associate Lecturer
Ms. Sherin holds an MBA from United Business Institutes, Belgium (2009) and a Masters in Computer Application from Madurai Kamaraj University, India (2003). With over 14 years of experience she has taught bachelor level business modules in Stamford College (Malaysia), Gulf College (Gulf of Oman), Auston Institute of Management (Singapore), and Academies Australasia - Australian Universities (Singapore).
Her experience is vast with four conference presentations which have been published in Society for Researchers into Higher Education, International Technology, Education and Development (INTED), National Institute of Education (NIE) and International Conference on Education and Innovation. In July 2015, her research on Singapore Tertiary education was published on DOAJ, through the Ireland Journal of Academic Practices.

THOO CHIN AUN
Associate Lecturer
Mr. Thoo Chin Aun graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from the National University of Singapore, a Master of Business Systems from Monash University, Australia and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education (with credit) from the National Institute of Education, Singapore. He teaches Physics, Mathematics and Lower Secondary Science and has 9 years of experience teaching local as well as International students taking the GCE ‘O’ Level examinations. His goal in education is to help students achieve their purpose of furthering their studies in Singapore and overseas.

NEETU VICTOR
Associate Lecturer
Ms. Victor is an enthusiastic EFL trainer with experience in the development and delivery of language programs to a wide variety of learners encompassing diverse backgrounds and mixed abilities; from international students to executives in MNCs. Her qualifications include MBA (HR & Marketing), B.Com and Cambridge CELTA. Currently, she is doing Masters in Education at the University of Nottingham. She has lived and worked in Europe, East and South Asia and has experience working in cross-cultural settings. She is also a trained OET exam interlocutor, IELTS trainer (IDP, Singapore) and NLP practitioner. She believes in building rapport with her students and has a creative and flexible approach in planning lessons.

TAN KHIANG MENG
Associate Lecturer
Mr. Tan Khiang Meng graduated from National University of Singapore (NUS) with a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science Degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering majoring in quality and reliability. He was also a certified Quality Engineer (CQE) with ASQ. In addition, KM is ACTA trained and certified and is currently engaged by a local Polytechnic as an Adjunct Lecturer conducting lectures and tutorials in Mathematics & Statistics related modules.

HARDING CARY LAWRANCE
Associate Lecturer
Mr. Cary comes from the UK, and graduated from De Montfort University in Leicester with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Media. Since attaining his CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) he has been teaching general, conversational and business English to students from all over the world. As a language learner himself, Cary understands that the classroom should be a space where students can be free to study, practise and make mistakes in a fun and supportive environment. Let’s learn!
R. MALLIGA JASMINE
Associate Lecturer
Ms. Jasmine is an enthusiastic educator who is always committed to providing a balanced, supportive, and engaging learning environment. She has been tutoring in MOE schools for the last 15 years and in the course has seen the significant academic and personal growth of many students. She is also certified in coaching and facilitating learning from Singapore Polytechnic. With a special interest in differentiation instructions, she believes in customizing her lessons to suit the interest and needs of her various learners. She is committed to imparting her knowledge and skillset in heuristics & problem solving to her students.

CHUA MEI LING
Associate Lecturer
Ms. Chua Mei Ling holds a merit degree (Bachelor of Science) majoring in Mathematics after graduating from National University of Singapore. Her teaching experience in private schools has enabled her to prepare and teach students in preparatory course (Mathematics) for admission to MOE schools. She specialises in Mathematics tutoring for more than 10 years. Her students include those preparing for AEIS as well as from MOE schools and international schools.
ELAINE LIM
Associate Lecturer
Ms. Elaine Lim graduated with a Bachelor of Business - Marketing from Central Queensland University and is currently an Alumna of Central Queensland University, Australia. Armed with a Certificate in Teaching and Learning from Singapore, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, she has taught over 100 students throughout her 4 years teaching career. Her effective classroom management allows her to facilitate a large group of students ranging from 10 to 33 students while ensuring everyone’s learning needs are met. Her portfolio includes conducting AEIS English preparatory courses for international students who are applying for admission to MOE Schools.

SITI YARIYATI BINTE MOHAMED
Associate Lecturer
Ms. Siti Yariyati graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Merit) Degree and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Singapore Institute Management University (UNISIM) in 2009. She was awarded the Deloitte & Touche Gold Award (Top Student Award). She has been teaching Mathematics and Business Studies for the past 15 years with a focus on Upper Sec E and A Maths. She has a strong passion in instilling a love of Mathematics in her students. A former student of Raffles Girls and National JC, she is friendly and approachable and very committed to helping her charges aspire to be the best they can be.

SHEELA D/O KUMARAVELU
Associate Lecturer
Ms. Sheela holds a Diploma in Business Studies and a Cambridge Teaching Certificate. She has been offering her tuition services for primary, secondary and pre-university levels since 2006. Her dedicated and goal-oriented teaching has helped students make significant improvements in their mathematics grades and, more importantly, ignite their passion for the subject. Her knowledge and skillset in mathematics has seen students through major examinations, including PSLE, O-Levels and A-Levels. She has also assisted international students in their preparation for the AEIS mathematics examination to gain admission in MOE schools.

JOYEETA CHOWDHURY
Associate Lecturer
Ms. Joyeeta is an experienced, degree-qualified teacher who also has a Diploma in Education (Special Needs) with more than 11 years of teaching experience. She has taught across a range of curricula in the USA, India and Singapore including at international schools. She brings a passion for nurturing young people to become confident learners and achieve their potential.

NURINA ABDUL RASID

Ms. Nurina Abdul Rasid has a Master's Degree in Mathematics from the University of Wollongong, Australia and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with Psychology from SIM University, Singapore with more than 6 years of teaching experience at various levels. She will go the extra mile for the success of AAC students with dedication and sincerity.

SYAFFANA
Associate Lecturer
Ms. Syaffana graduated from Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) with a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and a Minor in Physical Education in 2021. As an educator, she believes that all students are able to construct their own learning based on their individual unique capabilities. She has taught English to students from as young as three to 15-years old and has enjoyed the two-way learning she experiences in all her classes. She strives towards creating opportunities for her students to find joy in learning in and out of the classroom.
MONIKA SHARMA
Associate Lecturer
Ms. Monika holds an undergraduate degree in Business and master’s degree in accounting. She worked as a qualified chartered accountant for a few years before entering the education sector. She has been teaching tertiary and diploma level classes for the past 15 years in private schools.
NICOLETTE LORRAINE
Associate Lecturer
Ms. Nicolette Lorraine graduated from Teesside University with her bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Media Production in 2019. She is trained in the field of media, communications, and education. She has been writing, teaching, and producing content fitted to the various target audiences. She aims to nurture children and young adults to look beyond their horizons and keep living their dreams. She has been coaching O level and IGCSE students for the past 5 years, looking into their needs and areas of expertise. She looks forward to working with students and empowering them.

SUSAN MCKENZIE
Lecturer
Ms. Susan is student-centric, always focusing on helping students gain confidence, improve and progress. Questioning, encouraging, expressing enthusiasm and building rapport are key aspects of the learning journey with Susan. Real-world experiences and real English are what you can look forward to with Susan who comes from the London area of England, UK and is a trained lawyer with degrees from London institutions including the London School of Economics, University of London. An exponent in English, Susan employs critical thinking approaches and skills to bring out the best in students. Susan has been involved with preparing students to speak, read and write English for over 20 years. She looks forward to welcoming students.

FAIROZA BANU D/O M ABDUL JALEEL

Ms. Fairoza Banu graduated from Annamalai University, India with a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts - English Literature and a Diploma in Computing. She served as a tutor in MOE school, where she taught students academically and broadened their understanding. She is specialised in English language, mathematics, and biology. She is wholly committed to being involved in collective working environments and believes that it takes a group to educate rather than a single person. She is passionate about teaching students and forging relationships with them that help build a sense of confidence and enable them to grow as learners.
