Overview

The Diploma of Logistics and Supply Chain Management demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of the key concepts and practices in the field. The students are trained to manage transport and logistic operations including international logistics and distribution networks effectively. Additionally students will be demonstrated to develop strategies to optimize transport and logistics enterprise, enhance supply chain management, and implement human resource management practices within the context of the industry. Through this course, students will be able to gain the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in various roles within the logistics and supply chain field.

Mr. Matthew is an avid believer of Active Learning Pedagogy. Engagement with students transforms the classroom into a holistic 360-degree knowledge sharing environment. Equipped with an MSc in Project Management and BSc (Hon) in Business Management - both with distinction - he has both industrial and academic knowledge to impart, being a business developer in various sectors. His firm conviction in building collaborative, genuine relationships has resulted in classrooms and businesses creating dynamic, valuable ideas together. He now serves in AAC as Programme Leader and lecturer for Tertiary Education.

Ms Thanalakshmi

Ms. Lakshmi's enthusiasm for education is indescribable. She merely enjoys raising and uploading educational standards and quality. She wishes to be a part of the evolution and growth of education. Lakshmi received her Bachelor of Commerce (IS) and Master of Business Information Technology degrees from the Curtin University of Technology. Her primary responsibility has always been to uphold academic standards and quality.
She has over 20 years of expertise in the education industry. She also has excellent communication skills. She has the ability to teach Business related, Business Information Technology and Business Management Modules.

The Industrial Attachment is an integral module of the programme. However, suppose a student is unable to participate in the Industrial Attachment module due to circumstances beyond the control of the Student or the College, like non-approval of the Training Work Permit by the Ministry of Manpower or unable to secure an intern placement due to unavailability of vacancies, the Student will be required to complete a Research-Based Project with the submission of a report to be considered for graduation for the course. While AAC will make its best efforts to secure Industrial Attachment for the students, it does not guarantee that it will be able to secure one for every student.

INDUSTRIAL

ATTACHMENT

  • Obtained at least D for any GCE O Level subject, or

  • Higher National ITE Certificate (Higher Nitec), or

  • 10 years of formal education or equivalent, or

  • Matured students with 30 years and above with at least 8 years of work experience will be considered for admission.

(Applicants must be of age 16 and above.)
