Q: What is Government Preparatory Course (GPC)?


The Preparatory Course is designed to prepare international students to sit for the AEIS Test for admission into Singapore Government Secondary School. International students seeking admission to a Government School must take the Admissions Exercise for International Students (AEIS) Test conducted by the Ministry of Education (MOE).


Q: What is Admissions Exercise for International Students (AEIS)?


AEIS stands for the Admission Exercise for International Students. It is an exercise / exam set by the Ministry of Education, Singapore, (MOE) for international students who are interested in studying in Singapore Government School.


The AEIS Test will involve a centralised test on English and Mathematics and is held in

September / October of each year. The Ministry of Education will assign international

students who are successful in the AEIS Test to join a Government School in January on the following year. Those who missed the first AEIS exam, they may retake the AEIS exam in February for the June intake.


Q: How long is the AEIS preparatory course?


6 months class-based study. Enroll in our AEIS preparatory course, students will be able to learn English & Mathematic, after completion of the 6 months course, student can be register for the AEIS exam.


The Secondary education in Singapore is a 4-year course (Express Course/Singapore - Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level) and a 5-year course (Normal Academic Course). Students from the Express Course will sit for the Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level at the end of the 4th year.


For students from Normal Academic Course, they will sit for the Singapore Cambridge GCE N-Level at the end of the 4th year and Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level at the end of 5th year.
