The DCIT has been designed to provide students with a solid foundation in the essential aspects of IT, including computer systems, programming, networking, cybersecurity, mobile communications, and web development. The programme will also equip students with the practical skills and theoretical knowledge necessary to pursue further studies and/or employment into entry-level positions in the IT industry. The curriculum has been structured to ensure students develop both practical skills and a deep understanding of the technological environment, preparing them for a wide range of IT roles.

EDUCATION PATHWAY

This program offers students a fast-track opportunity to gain entry-level knowledge in Information Technology. It equips them with essential skills to progress to a Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Information Technology, paving the way for a promising career in the IT field.

MASTER PROGRAMMING FOUNDATION

Understand the fundamentals of programming concepts. Write and debug programs in a selected programming language and apply logic and algorithms to solve computational problems.

INDUSTRY-RELEVANT CURRICULUM

Gain hands-on skills and knowledge in computer system, website development and cybersecurity and mobile communication tailored to meet the demands of the IT industry.

To be awarded the DCIT, students must achieve a minimum of a Pass Grade in all modules. This must be completed within a two-year eligibility period, starting from the original course completion date. Failure to meet these requirements within the specified timeframe may result in ineligibility for the diploma.
