Overview

About OTHM Qualification:
OTH
M is a UK based awarding organisation. OTHM qualifications are approved and regulated by Ofqual (Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulation). Ofqual is responsible for maintaining standards and confidence in qualifications. Ofqual looks after GCSEs and A levels in England, and a wide range of vocational qualifications in England. Ofqual also regulates the National Curriculum Assessments in England. All qualifications regulated by Ofqual (in England) comes under the UK’s Regulated Qualifications Framework. The UK’s Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) categorises qualifications in England based on their size and level of challenge or difficulty.

OTHM is regulated by Ofqual with the same framework as with the UK universities. Hence the UK universities recognise OTHM qualifications and allow OTHM graduates to join relevant Bachelor Degree Final year/Master/MBA top-up programmes. OTHM holds a progression agreement with several UK universities. That means learners can also join relevant programmes offered at Study Centres/Partner Colleges/Overseas Campuses of UK universities.

Programme Objective:
The objective of the OTHM Level 5 Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management is intended to develop learners’ understanding of policy, management theory and practice in logistics and supply chain management. It provides learners with an opportunity to engage with the challenges facing professionals and policymakers in their own country. They will provide knowledge that underpins the ability to work as an effective manager in the sector. They combine both theoretical and practical knowledge in the profession. They will develop and enhance knowledge and skills in the areas of leading change, effective planning and risk assessment and forecasting. Learners will be able to work in a variety of roles within logistics and supply chain management.

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS
  • Level 4 Diploma in Logistics Management or equivalent OR

  • Relevant level 4 Diploma from other PEIs

  • Applicants must be of age 18 and above

ENGLISH PROFICIENCY
  • IELTS 5.5 or equivalent or AAC EFL Level-5

  • Pass AAC English proficiency test
